Consultancy
This includes any contract that is required to perform University Outside Work, including overseas funded or offshore consultancies.
Note:
- All consultancies must be reviewed by OCS before commencing.
- If the contract has not been supplied by OCS (i.e. the client is supplying the contract) it may be forwarded to OCS for review, even if the contract is less than $10,000.
- Ensure that the project is priced accurately and adequately.

Commercial Research
Commercial research is defined as research undertaken at the specific request of industry or a government agency. |

Collaborative Research
Collaborative research is defined as a jointly sponsored research project developed between QUT and a partner (usually industry) where QUT contributes cash or in kind support. |
